Minimum Qualifications

 

On Air Personality

 

- PC with Windows/MacOS (mobile phone is not enough)
- headphones 
- microphone (any PC microphone or headset)  
- 24/7 Internet connection and basic browsing skills 
- knowledge of any mailing system (Gmail, Yahoo mail, Hotmail etc)
- Microsoft Excel basic skills (this is a must) 
- Facebook and Twitter accounts
- knowledge of audio and video editing software (WavePad, Audacity, or any other – Free  tranign included) 
- basic skills in social media platforms Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Reverbnation, LinkedIn

- knowledge of independent music scene in at least MuseBoat Radio Artist rotation 
 

Off Air Personality

 

- 24/7 Internet connection and basic browsing skills 
- knowledge of any mailing system (Gmail, Yahoo mail, Hotmail etc)
- Microsoft Excel / Google Docs basic skills (this is a must) 
- Facebook, Twitter, Reverbnation accounts; YouTube, LikedIn, Instagram or others are optional

Each volunteer position includes:

 

- free training in broadcasting and radio marketing
- free training in audio files recording (if applied)

- free training in audio files editing
- free training in social media marketing
- granted commercial revenue split up to 50%

- partial sharing of the Internet connection costs

- free media partnership at all MuseBoat websites for your blog or website (if applied)
- free music promotion (if applied) 
 

Main Responsibilities: 

 

To appropriately re-enforce the radio station identity and program at all times.

This includes:

 

ON AIR PERSONALITY POSITION

 

• Creation of unique music show introducing and/or interviewing independent artists (show is never longer then 2 hours, songs included, in period of twoo weeks what means about 2 hours work in two weeks (without promotion)
• Recording intro/outro to songs, interview questions, show introduction and end, radio commercial (voiceover), setting up show playlists, interviews, etc 

• Seeking for new great independent artists to send music to MuseBoat Radio for free on air and website promotion  

• Seeking for interesting non-music related personalities for interviews (if applied) 

• Creation and administering of station call letters for domestic area

• Positioning statements to any free online platforms 

• Being active in cross promotion of independent artists  

• To contribute and support the creation of the show on a fortnight basis. 

• To create and post original on-line content that meets radio standards on social networking platforms like museboat wix website, MuseBoat Twitter, Facebook, reverbnation etc.

 

OFF AIR PERSONALITY POSITION

 

• To deliver all relevant information from area / state / country to Museboat website visitors (charity events, regional events, etc) 

• updating national MuseBoat website
